Dr Bandi Samaraseana graduated with an MBBS from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka, in 2000. She has been practising as a general practitioner in Australia since 2014.

In 2017, Dr Samaraseana became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and was accredited by the Australian Medical Council (AMC).

Dr Samaraseana has developed expertise in gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatric health, chronic disease management, emergency medicine, and mental health.
